Any landowner in the county is eligible to run for a three year term, voting is open to all Plymouth County residents. PCCD meets monthly to consider natural resource problems within the county and in particular those related to agriculture. The board of supervisors sets local priorities for USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service programs. All PCCD meetings are open to the public and especially encouraged to participate in the annual election. USDA programs in Massachusetts are broad and varied because the farming activity is unique, specialized and diverse.
